Reading To Learn - 60 Minute Expert

Here is your chance to read to learn about subjects that are interesting to you!!

1) Choose a topic from the list below or your own idea of something you want to learn more about.
2) Use the web and other resources to learn about your topic. You have 30 minutes to become
an "expert" on your topic. Then you will write about it for 30 minutes to share what you learned.
3) Take notes in your word processor.
4) Answer these 2 questions:
What is it? (If it is a living thing, find it's scientific name first- search using the scientific name)
What is important to know about it?
